Southwest China's Guizhou province recently released tips for COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control over the upcoming May Day holiday, which runs from May 1 to 5 this year.

Citizens should avoid traveling to middle- and high-risk areas unless necessary. People coming to Guizhou from low-risk areas are not required to take nucleic acid tests or provide nucleic acid test results.

Guizhou's health committee reminds all citizens to familiarize themselves with the latest pandemic information, such as pandemic prevention and control policies at destination scenic spots. They should also prepare valid identification certificates and health codes when going to public places and wear masks.

Citizens should avoid gathering and practice social distancing in public places. Family gatherings should be limited to fewer than 10 people.
