Guizhou scenic spot offers discounts during May Day holiday

During this year's May Day holiday from April 30 to May 4, the Wujiang Village Resort in Zunyi, Southwest China's Guizhou province, will maintain its discounted ticket price of 60 yuan ($9.03) per person and launch various activities.

The resort is only a 1.5-hour drive from Guiyang and a 40-minute drive from Zunyi's downtown area. It has more than 5,000 parking spots.

Visitors can enjoy bamboo drifting, acrobatics, operas, magic shows, folk songs, ethnic dances and singing performances and learn to make traditional handicrafts at the resort during the holiday.

People can also eat special snacks, go sightseeing on the Wujiang River, purchase souvenirs, and walk on ancient streets in the daytime, and enjoy the brilliant night scenery while having a drink in the evening.

The resort boasts many boutique hotels and homestays with varying prices to meet the needs of tourists. Those who spend the night at the resort can purchase tickets at a price of 35 yuan per person after checking in at their hotel.

The resort ticket can be purchased on its official WeChat account and applet, or at the tourist center offline. A one-way ticket for the sightseeing boat is 280 yuan per boat for three people, or 60 yuan per adult and 30 yuan per kid under 1.5 meters for a chartered boat.
