Guizhou becomes hot tourist destination in summer

As summer vacation approaches, Southwest China's Guizhou province has been receiving reservations for family trips, study trips and group trips from students and parents.

According to China's online travel agency Mafengwo, the Baili Azalea Nature Reserve in Bijie city of Guizhou is the third most popular tourist destination in China, while Anshun's Pingba district and Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture's Xingyi city are among China's top 10 destinations for flower viewing.

Guizhou's provincial capital Guiyang was also listed among China's top 10 destinations for excursions during this year's May Day holiday.

Construction progress on expressways and high-speed railways has made traveling in Guizhou more convenient, and two-hour trips by car or high-speed rail are becoming popular among tourists.

Rural tourism products, mini vacation tourism products, and summer vacation tourism products launched across the province are favored by the market.

Guizhou has launched various tourist routes themed on summer vacation, museums, intangible cultural heritage and health care during the summer season.

The province will continue to improve the quality of tourism products for tourists and launch discounts for scenic spots, accommodations, and souvenirs.

It will also organize various competitions and activities to encourage tourism companies and tourists to participate, and through pandemic prevention and control measures, it will guarantee the health of tourists.
