Guizhou's decade-long development achievements exhibited in Beijing

The exhibition "Forging Ahead in the New Era" kicked off at the Beijing Exhibition Center on Sept 27. At the exhibition, Southwest China's Guizhou province showcased its achievements in the new era of West China Development, rural vitalization, digital economy and ecological civilization through photos and videos.

At Guizhou's exhibition area, visitors can learn about the province's economic development, rural development, big data development and excellent natural environment.

In addition to photos, the exhibition presents various exhibits such as Miao embroidery works, books, tea and guitars to showcase Guizhou's achievements in different areas.

The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST), the world's largest single-dish telescope in Guizhou, shows up various times at the exhibition.

At the natural ecology exhibition area, representative scenic spots such as Guizhou's four World Natural Heritage Sites – Fanjing Mountain, Libo Zhangjiang scenic area, Chishui Danxia scenic area and Yuntai Mountain – are introduced to showcase Guizhou's philosophy of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets".

At the history and culture exhibition area, Guizhou's rich culture such as the history related to the Red Army, intangible cultural heritage items, historical ruins, and ethnic culture are displayed.

At the development transformation exhibition area, Guizhou infrastructure such as Beipanjiang Bridge, the world's highest bridge, the transmission project of electricity from the west to the east, and various data centers in Guian New Area allow visitors to experience the rapid development of the province.

The exhibition allows experiential projects to interact with visitors and teach them about Guizhou's great development achievements and the lives of Guizhou people.
