Annual plenary of Guizhou Provincial People's Congress opens

The first plenary of the 14th Guizhou Provincial People's Congress opened in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Jan 13 and will close on the morning of Jan 18.

At the opening ceremony of the plenary, Li Bingjun, governor of Guizhou province, delivered Guizhou's 2022 government work report.

The deputies will review Guizhou's 2022 national economic and social development and the report of Guizhou's 2023 national economic and social development draft plan.

They will also review Guizhou's 2022 budget performance and the report of the 2023 drafted budget and vote on the draft determining the number of members in the Standing Committee of the 14th Guizhou Provincial People's Congress.

They will also vote for the draft of the election measures for the first plenary of the 14th Guizhou Provincial People's Congress, the draft of the establishment of the special committee of the 14th Guizhou Provincial People's Congress, and the draft of the list of members of the finance and economic committee of the 14th Guizhou Provincial People's Congress.
