Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou province, has begun supplying gas for the winter, offering three kinds of gas: coal gas, liquefied natural gas and pipeline gas. This is also the first time the city will utilize pipeline gas from Burma.
Gas delivery will begin at the end of November. It is predicted that Guiyang's coal gas daily supply will amount to 950,000 cubic meters this winter, decreasing 24 percent compared with last year. Liquefied natural gas will increase to 530,000 cubic meters.
According to Guizhou Gas (Group) Co, Guiyang supplied gas for 115 days last winter. With the popularity of clean energy, more citizens are choosing to use natural gas. To date, there are 240,000 residents using natural gas out of 610,000 residents using gas in total.
