"Guiyang, as the capital city of Guizhou province, holds a leading position in provincial economic development. The development concept of  'Hi-Tech, Innovative Greening' will further quicken Guiyang's development pace," said Wang Hanwu, member of the CPPCC Guizhou Provincial Committee.

Guiyang will work to attract talent and high-tech companies, including companies in new materials, electronics, bioengineering, new energy and cloud computing fields.

Also, new technology requires new concepts and new models that draw significantly on innovative strategies. The city will work to innovate not only in emerging fields, such as the information network, e-business and big data industry, but also in the traditional industry, such as the agriculture and service industry, to bring vitality to those traditional areas.

Last but not least, benefited by Guiyang's ecological environment, the city will work to give its rich natural resources full play, building a green industry, green agriculture and green service industry, to set up an environmentally-friendly city brand.
