Guiyang strives for higher economic achievement in 2014

Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou province, will push forward the opening-up and exhibition economy in 2014.
It is expected to attract a total investment of 220 billion yuan ($35.70 billion) by the end of 2014, a year-on-year increase of 30 percent. Of that amount, foreign investment is estimated at $760 million, a year-on-year increase of 20 percent. Economic benefit will reach 12 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 30 percent.
According to the Guiyang municipal investment promotion bureau, by realizing the economic target for 2014, Guiyang will focus on the development of the Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Area, Guiyang Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone,Guiyang International Conference & Exhibition Center, and Guiyang Olympic Center.
