Press conference for brand festival held in Beijing

The news conference for the 8th China Brand Festival and the first Guizhou Brand Festival was held at the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest, on May 8, with the participation of more than 400 guests from various walks of life.
The festival, sponsored by Brand China, Guizhou Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Guiyang Municipal Government, will take place in Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou province, from Aug 7 to 10.
The festival aims to promote Chinese national brands and local brands in West China’s Guizhou province. Several forums concerning tourism, finance, exhibitions and E-commerce will open during the event itself. A group of outstanding young entrepreneurs, led by Yang Jian, an executive committee member of the Davos Global Shapers Community, will have discussions with domestic entrepreneurs and consider the investment opportunities in Guizhou.
Earlier on the 100-day countdown to the festival, the organizing committee invited 100 Chinese entrepreneurs, 100 consumers, 100 journalists, 100 brand experts, 100 college student volunteers, 100 foreigners, 100 staff from the Brand China Industry Union and 100 China Brand award winners to participate in the event.
China Brand Festival, also hailed as the "Olympic Games" of China’s brand industry, has been held on seven occasions since it was initiated in 2007.
