As an inland province, Guizhou has an abundant labor force so some of our company's products can be brought to Guizhou for development, according to Li Dayue, the president of a Greek firm, Paul Gillies Group who spoke while participating in the 2014 World Overseas Chinese Entrepreneur Conference on Tuesday in Guiyang.
"With the increase of labor costs in coastal cities, our company hopes to transform the industrial development base," he said.
"There are lots of specialty food industries in Guizhou, and we are willing to help promote them as Guizhou enterprises go abroad and develop in Europe."
As Paul Gillies Group has developed in Europe for more than 20 years, it is familiar with local market conditions. "In addition to our head office in Greece, we have branches in France, Italy and other countries, so our sales network is relatively broad, which means we could provide Guizhou enterprises with opportunities for entering the European market", Li added.
