According to the Guizhou Provincial Industry and Information Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Commission has officially approved the methanol-fueled vehicles pilot project in Guizhou province.

Guizhou has a good foundation to support this project as Guizhou province has the capability of producing 1.7 million tons of methanol annually.
