Major leaders in Guizhou province – including Chen Mingming, vice-governor of Guizhou province; delegations from the Guizhou Dadi Foundation, China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association; and outstanding teachers and officials from educational departments – attended the event.

During the event, six outstanding teachers from remote rural areas in Guizhou were invited to present their stories to all participants. Many participants were touched by their moving stories and willingly donated in order to help them out of poverty and raise teaching standards.

Guizhou province has always seen education as the foundation of the nation. Guizhou's education situation in remote, rural mountainous areas is worth paying attention to.

The charity event sought to provide financial support for teachers and students, especially left-behind children and their teachers in remote rural areas in Guizhou.

The event received huge support from company leaders and entrepreneurs in Guizhou. Themed "Public Minded, Social Contribution," a series of follow-up charity events, organized by the foundations, are on the way to provide support for pre-school education, after-school education and vocational education in Guizhou.

Dai Jianliang, founder of the Guizhou Dadi Foundation, said: "Teachers significantly impact students. We hope that our foundation can make a contribution to student growth and teacher improvement."

This year, the foundation plans to provide financial support for 400 teachers in remote rural areas and provide skills training courses for 200 outstanding teachers.
