Gui'an New Area upgrades road network

Gui'an New Area's road network, in Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou province, is under construction and will soon be open to the public.

The network, with a total length of 65.9 kilometers, includes Beidouhu Road, Chayuan Road, Guihong Road, Leima Road, Tianhetan Road, Zhongxin Road and Hulei Road.
After completion, the it will connect Guanshan Lake district, Nanming district, Huaxi district in Guiyang as well as Anshun city and Pingba city.
“The construction of the road network has two phases and 11 roads will be upgraded after completion. The width will be over 60 meters and we will set up two-way, six-lanes as standard,” said Xue Jinshan, director of the engineering management department of Gui’an Investment & Construction Company.
The project is nearing completion, with some loose ends which include the pipe network and water supply project.
The road network is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
