Guiyang's construction of its Line 1 rail system made significant progress during the National Day break, as conducting construction during the holiday avoids traffic issues on workdays.

As many as 3,268 construction workers and 627 pieces of equipment were involved, with a total cost of 35.92 million yuan ($5.86 million).
