According to the Guiyang human resources and social security bureau, fundamental monthly annuities for 214,097 residents will increase by 10 yuan ($1.63) per person starting this October.

The statistics provided by the Guiyang municipal government show that a total of 229,959 residents in Guiyang enjoy the fundamental annuities.

It is expected that 6.5 million yuan more will be put into the annuities section after the annuities increase. It is estimated that 40 million yuan is required to guarantee the distribution of fundamental annuities for 2015.
