A delegation from Taiwan EBC TV Co came to Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou province, on October 23 to learn about the television industry in Guizhou with the hope to establish cooperation with Guizhou province.

In recent years, Taiwan EBC TV has been working on cross-Straits news broadcasting. It is an especially close cooperative partner of Guiyang.

Starting in 2011, it has produced three promotion films for Guiyang. The films have received attention among Taiwan audiences and promote the image of Guizhou in Taiwan.

During the tour, they visited Yangming Cultural Park in Xiuwen county, Guizhou province, and were impressed by the Yangming culture.

Wang Yangming is a Chinese idealist and Neo-Confucian philosopher, official, educator, calligrapher and general during the Ming Dynasty. After Zhu Xi, he is commonly regarded as the most important Neo-Confucian thinker.

The Taiwan delegation expressed a desire to strengthen cooperation with Guizhou in the near future.
