During the Chaoyang-Beijing Big Data Cooperation Promotion Conference held on October 23, Gao Weidong, deputy mayor of Guiyang city, Southwest China's Guizhou province, said that Guiyang plans to build a Wi-Fi system covering the whole city, through which to help Guiyang build a big data platform.
By then, the Wi-Fi can cover the entire Guiyang city area, and locals and tourists can use the Wi-Fi for free.
This way, it can collect large amounts of behavioral data, corporate data, social media data and sensing device data. Eventually, Guiyang will develop into a regional big data platform.
