According to the Guizhou Provincial Educational Department, the Hong Kong–based China Kind Fund has provided support for Guizhou's education, donating billions of yuan for the construction of new schools in Guizhou.

The China Kind Fund's charity focuses on two areas: education and medical care. For education, it is committed to providing equal educational opportunities for children in remote areas, as well as building more schools and improving college entrance and employment competitiveness.

As early as 2008, the China Kind Fund donated 50 million yuan ($8.17 million) for the construction of a Guizhou provincial tourism school. This year, the China Kind Fund plans to donate 210 million yuan to Guizhou. The donation will be put into the construction of 21 schools in Guizhou.
