The Tourist Commodity Design Competition, the Tourist Commodity Designer Competition, and the China (Guizhou) International Folk Arts Crafts and Cultural Products Expo are being held in Guiyang, Southwest China’s Guizhou province, from November 29 to December 1.

Thousands of designers, professionals and experts from Spain, India, Switzerland and the Czech Republic are taking part in the exhibition.

An official from the organizing committee said: "As many as 50 cooperative agreements have been signed during the events, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan ($16.39 billion). It will surely help boost Guizhou's tourism development."
