ABB Group cooperates with Guiyang

ABB Group recently signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Guiyang municipal government and Guiyang Free Trade Zone in the fields of energy, industry, transportation and infrastructure.

According to the memorandum, ABB Group will support Guiyang's economic development through advanced products in electric power and automation products.
Gu Chunyuan, chairman and CEO of ABB (China) Group, said,"Guizhou, located in Southwest China, has great potential for economic development. ABB will actively cooperate with Guiyang in aspects of major construction projects, energy-saving intelligent products and solutions to mutually seek a path of sustainable development."

Currently, ABB has a branch company in Guiyang, and the memorandum will surely promote the branch's business in the near future.
In recent years, Guizhou has seen strong momentum in economic development, with its advantages in environment and resources.

Guiyang, as the capital city of Guizhou province, is the transportation and communication industry and commerce center of Southwest China.
ABB is a multinational corporation headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, operating mainly in robotics and power and automation technology areas. It has operations in around 100 countries, with approximately 150,000 employees in November 2013 and reported global revenue of $40 billion for 2011.
