Guiyang allocates $87 million on vocation education

On Wednesday, the Guiyang municipal government held a vocational education working conference to arrange vocational education work.
According to the conference, hundreds of vocational school projects will be conducted in 2015 to upgrade modern vocational education to a new level.
Guiyang, in recent years, takes active actions to develop and boost vocational education, and has carried out free secondary vocation education policy in Guizhou province.
The Guiyang finance bureau has allocated $87 million to 47 vocational education institutes. The employment rate of those institutes has remained above 95 percent.
Mao Youbi, vice-mayor of Guiyang city, said,"Vocation education is essential to the modern public education system; we should take this opportunity to cultivate more skilled workers."
