The painters are all created by children between 4 to 7 years old, and they are from a children's fine art training base in Guiyang. Sunflowers, grasslands, sheep, witches and princesses can be seen in their works.

All paintings were sold with a starting price of 100 yuan ($16.06) each, and 2,250 yuan in total was raised at the auction.

Most buyers are parents of the little painters. They raised their hands frequently to bid in the auction, with the purpose of encouraging their children, as well as sending their best wishes to children from mountainous areas.
