Zhao Kezhi, secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, met with 29 committee members from Hong Kong and Macao on January 25.
The 29 members gathered in Guizhou this time to attend the third session of 11th Guizhou Provincial Committee.
During their meeting, Zhao affirmed the members' contributions to Guizhou's economic and social development,"especially the contribution in the annual Guizhou & Hong Kong Trade and Investment Week in recent years," said Zhao.
He expressed the hope that they will offer more help in the near future, as Guizhou's process of industrialization, urbanization and informatization requires more support.
Deng Xiaozhou, one of the 29 Hong Kong and Macao committee members and president of Damei International Logistics Group Asia, said:" We Hong Kong and Macao committee members have done a lot for Guizhou’s development. We have helped the Guizhou government hold a civil servant training program in Hong Kong. Also, under our help, some leading professors of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology came to Guizhou to deliver talks on the big data industry."
Deng continued,"We are optimistic in Guizhou's development and would like to be contributors during the process."
