A media competition calling for written, photo and video stories regarding to environmental protection and ecological practices is announced yesterday at a sub forum of Eco Forum Global Annual Conference in Guiyang city, capital of southwest China's Guizhou province between June 26 to 28.

Zhang Guangzhi, member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou CPC Provincial Committee, said on the occasion that the spreading of the sense of ecological civilization requires good stories. It is a long journey but we shall put effort on exploring good stories, practices and moving moments regarding to the nation's effort on ecology and tell them to the world, he mentioned in his speech.

During the forum, experts, media and enterprise representatives, government officials  brainstorm to discuss the possible methods of promoting the sense of ecological civilization to the public.
