A forum on sustainable tourism and human development at a scenic spot near the city of Anshun, Guizhou province, June 27 - 28, attracted experts, government officials and enterprise representatives from the United States, Germany, Canada, India, and around 10 other countries, and the World Tourism Organization and other institutions.

The participants discussed various topics related to tourism and the environment, challenges for ecotourism, and sustainable cities.

Anshun itself is rich in tourism resources and has two AAAAA scenic spots – the Huangguoshu Waterfalls and the Longgong karst landscape area.
