The first session of the China International Ballroom Dance open championship is inviting professional dancers from around the globe to take part, July 25 - 27, in the city of Guiyang, Guizhou province with seven different categories, including professional, amateur, modern and Latin.

Dancers from Russia, the United States, the UK, half a dozen other countries have been invited, and as many as 2,000 contests nationwide will also show their talent on the dance floor.

The organizing committee say that top three contests of the competition will be recommended to take part in other international dance matches.
