Guiyang airport sees outbound tourist numbers up a big amount

The Customs Office in the city of Guiyang, Guizhou province reports that the city handed 1,938 international flights and 189,000 outbound tourists in the first half of the year, for an increase of 39 percent in flights and 42 percent in passenger flow, over last year.
Many Guizhou tourists consider Southeast Asia to be the best destination and Guiyang's Longdongbao International Airport has opened a new route to Vietnam, in addition to the standard, Bangkok and Phuket, Thailand. Families, on the other hand, often fancy a trip to Osaka, Japan, especially with the arrival of summer vacation.
