9Air Co, Guangdong province's first low-cost airline, will launch its first flight between Guiyang and Wuxi,Jiangsu province on March 27, offering tickets priced as low as 9 yuan ($1.39).

The flights will run once a day, using a Boeing 737-800.

9Air Passengers can buy tickets on 9Air's official website and app or using electronic payment platforms such as WeChat from March 19, company officials said.

9Air Co, a low-cost carrier based in Guangdong province, which started operations in Dec 2014, ordered 50 Boeing 737 aircrafts in May 2014, making it the largest single order from a privately owned Chinese airline.
