Guiyang residents got the chance to sample Qinlong mutton and noodles at a county food festival at Guiyang Huaguoyuan Shopping Mall on Dec 10.

Qinglong county is located in the Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture and is a major agricultural area. The county prioritizes the development of stock farming and “Qinglong Sheep” has become a popular brand in the country.

Mutton soup and noodles were made fresh on the day, allowing visitors to get a glimpse into the origin of Qinglong specialties. Girls of the Yi ethnic group also performed songs and dances to showcase the county’s special culture.
