Guiyang and Evergrande team up for better regional economic development

Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province and commonly known as China's Data Valley, looks to be ready for a new round of development in many areas, including high technology, healthcare, culture, and tourism.

A delegation led by Xu Jiayin, president of the board of Evergrande Group, visited Guiyang on April 27 and signed a cooperation agreement with the city's government. Guizhou Governor Shen Yiqin attended the signing ceremony.

Shen expressed her gratitude for Evergande's active participation in Guizhou's poverty alleviation efforts and hoped that the company can invest more in Guizhou, contributing to the province's improvement of its business environment.

In return, Xu affirmed his company's commitment to contributing more to Guizhou's efforts in poverty relief through industrial development and relocation of people living in poverty-stricken areas, while emphasizing the development advantages of the province.
