Guizhou athlete wins women's doubles tennis event at Universiade

Guo Hanyu from Guiyang, Guizhou province and Ye Qiuyu from Huzhou, Zhejiang province won the women's doubles tennis championship at the 30th Summer Universiade in Naples, Italy on July 12, 2019.
Itis the first time that a Chinese delegation has won the women's doubles tennis championship at the Universiade since 2001.
The final match was marked by ups and downs. The winning pair initially took the lead at 4-0, but their competitors came back to it make a close competition. Eventually, Hanyu and Qiuyu achieved a narrow victory, beat Chinese Taipei 10-8 to claim the title.
