Universities in China and Thailand sign cooperation agreements

Four university cooperation agreements were signed between China and Thailand at a meeting entitled Higher Education Collaboration under The Belt and Road and Thailand 4.0, which was held in Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province on July 23.

Along with the 2019 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, the meeting saw important leaders and experts from China and Thailand share their views on academic recognition and education systems with the goal of seeking mutually beneficial results.

Zhao Lingshan, secretary-general and vice-chairman of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), said that it is significant to cultivate talents with joint efforts, and the fair serves as a platform for deep communication.

A representative from Thailand's Ministry of Education indicated that China's Belt and Road Initiative is in line with Thailand's development strategy, which will further cooperation between both sides.
