The second plenary of the 13th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Guiyang Committee opened in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 7 and will close on Feb 10.

The CPPCC members will listen to and review the work report of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC Guiyang Committee and the Standing Committee of the CPPCC Guiyang Committee's work report of proposals submitted since the first plenary of the 13th CPPCC Guiyang Committee.

They will also review and approve the resolution of the second plenary of the 13th CPPCC Guiyang Committee, and the report on the review of the proposals at the second plenary of the 13th CPPCC Guiyang Committee, as well as attend the third plenary of the 15th Guiyang Municipal People's Congress to listen to and discuss the work report of the Guiyang municipal people's government and other reports.

Entrusted by the Standing Committee of the 13th CPPCC Guiyang Committee, Geng Guigang, vice-chairman of the CPPCC Guiyang Committee, reported to the plenary on the proposals submitted since the first plenary of the 13th CPPCC Guiyang Committee.

Over the past year, 395 proposals were submitted, and 376 were put on file after review. By December 2022, all the proposals put on file had been handled or replied to.
