Guiyang companies share experience of going global

Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, hosted a seminar on May 12 centered around the topic of globalizing brands. Jointly organized by Guizhou International Economic and Trade Center and China (Guiyang) Cross-border E-Commerce Public Service Platform, the seminar attracted over 20 companies.

At the seminar, Guizhou Qiantong E-commerce Service Co introduced the operation model and business processes of cross-border e-commerce, shedding light on the pivotal role played by the China (Guiyang) Cross-border E-Commerce Public Service Platform.

This platform, erected by the China (Guiyang) Cross-border E-Commerce Public Service Platform, was built by Guizhou Qiantong E-commerce Service Co, approved by the Guiyang Bureau of Commerce, and serves as a municipal-level public service platform for cross-border e-commerce.

By establishing system interfaces with various entities involved in cross-border e-commerce, such as government agencies, regulatory departments, e-commerce platforms, logistics platforms, and payment platforms, the platform effectively engages in data exchange, offering various services to cross-border businesses. These services include facilitating cross-border business declaration, inquiry, data sharing, and other related services to e-commerce enterprises.

Importantly, the platform extends comprehensive services and support to empower companies in Guiyang to engage effectively in cross-border e-commerce endeavors.

Wang Lei, a representative from the Guizhou International Economic and Trade Center, highlighted the seminar's objective of providing local businesses with international market advice from industry experts tailored to the distinctive attributes of Guizhou products. The overarching goal is to establish a communication platform.

Wang expressed, "Based upon the foundation of Guizhou products, our aim is to help Guizhou companies in conducting cross-border e-commerce through the 'Tiktok + independent store' approach. By doing so, we can amplify the influence of Guizhou products in overseas markets and support the global expansion of Guizhou companies."
