Guiyang and Namangan become sister cities

On April 8, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed a letter of intent to establish a sister city relationship with Namangan, Uzbekistan, committing to deepening exchanges and cooperation in the fields of trade, industry, education, culture, and tourism.
To date, Guiyang has established friendly relations and exchanges with 31 cities globally.

Located in the northern part of the Fergana Valley, Namangan is Uzbekistan's fourth largest city in terms of population, with an area of nearly 101.5 square kilometers and a population of approximately 365,000. It is also the first friendly city of Guiyang in Central Asia.
