On June 15, the Colorful Guizhou Marathon Super League (Third Station) Guiyang Marathon 2025 kicked off in Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The event featured a full marathon, half marathon, marathon 10 km and a mini marathon – with a record 35,000 runners participating. 

The 2025 Guiyang Marathon was awarded the Road Race Elite Label by World Athletics –becoming the first internationally top-certified marathon event in Guizhou.
