ASEAN schools visit Guiyang Vocational and Technical College

A delegation of 97 teachers and students from various ASEAN schools, including Prince of Songkha University Affiliated School in Thailand, SMP Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang in Indonesia, and Malay College Kuala Kangsar, recently visited Guiyang Vocational and Technical College for 2025 "Bridge to See" Guizhou International Cultural Exchange Program.
The delegation toured the rail transit simulation driving training room and the equipment manufacturing automotive training base. They observed new energy vehicle technology and learned about the college's collaboration with enterprises and the integration of industry and education in talent cultivation. Through experiencing simulation driving, observing the operation control center dispatching, and learning about the history of locomotive development, they gained insights into urban rail transit and high-speed rail operation systems.

The group also visited the Multicolor Art and National Costume Museum, where they explored Southwest China's ethnic costumes, daily utensils, and batik embroidery. They also tried making traditional lacquer fans, appreciating the unique charm of Chinese traditional crafts through hands-on activities.

This exchange event not only showcased Guiyang Vocational and Technical College's achievements in rail transit, equipment manufacturing, and intangible cultural heritage projects, but also effectively promoted friendly exchanges and mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign youth. It further advanced international cooperation between Guiyang Vocational and Technical College and ASEAN countries in education and culture.
