Guiyang International Land Port exceeds quarterly targets

In the first quarter of this year, Guiyang International Land Port in Southwest China's Guizhou province handled 13,430 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), surpassing its quarterly target by 12 percent. The trains dispatched 7,582 TEUs, marking a year-on-year increase of over 33 percent and surpassing the quarterly target by 46 percent.

As an international trade transshipment and consolidation hub for ASEAN, Central Asia, and Europe, as well as an important international logistics hub in Southwest China, Guiyang International Land Port has launched a China-Europe (Central Asia) train connecting the Eurasian continent, a China-Laos train connecting RCEP member countries and ASEAN, a New International Land-sea Trade Corridor train connecting the Beibu Gulf in Guangxi province, and a Guizhou-Guangdong train connecting the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
In the first quarter, Guiyang International Land Port also launched the first China-Europe train of 2026 dedicated to Geely Automobile and signed new business contracts exceeding 700,000 metric tons, with a contract value of over 900 million yuan ($132 million).
