The labor service brand represents the skills and service quality of labor in the highly competitive job market, especially for migrant workers who count on labor service branding to obtain employment.
As a major labor supply province, Southwest China's Guizhou province strives to cultivate at least one labor service brand in each county by the end of this year and build various provincial labor service brands with Guizhou features and wide influence by 2025.
Dunyun city in Qiannan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture is the production area of the famous Maojian tea. Due to a lack of tea planting management and protection technology, uneven quality of employees and lack of unified industrial standards, the quality of Maojian tea has been inconsistent.
To solve these problems, Dunyun launched plans for tea industry development and the training of tea industry employees to cultivate its labor service brand of Maojian technicians.
Zunyi's Zheng'an county is known for the guitar industry in China. It produces about 6 million guitars per year, with a total output value of 6 billion yuan ($854.71 million).
By establishing guitar-making studios and university-company cooperation and training talent involved in the guitar industry, Zheng'an continues to sharpen the skills of its local guitar craftsmen.
Guizhou also cooperates with other provinces to supply labor and increase their incomes. During the past few years, Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture has signed eight cooperation agreements with Huizhou city in South China's Guangdong province and established eight labor cooperation stations in Huizhou.
Each county in Guizhou strives to strengthen the connection between migrant workers and labor institutions in target cities and promote labor brands with their own features.
