Guizhou and Russian soccer teams to compete in Guiyang

The 2023 China Guizhou "Zhongke Yunzhi Cup" soccer match will be held at the Guiyang Olympic Center on Nov 17. The Guizhou Soccer Team and Russian Zenit Football Club (FC Zenit)will compete in the match.

Founded in 1925, FC Zenit has won the Soviet Union Premier League and Russian Premier League championship 10 times and the Soviet Union Cup and Russian Cup four times.

They have also won the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup championships.

The Guizhou Soccer Team will be selected through a qualifying tournament, with top-ranking players forming the core team.

During the match, activities such as "Tianhetan soccer night" and the "international soccer carnival" will also be held. Attendees can not only enjoy players' performances and Guizhou ethnic dance shows, but also taste Chinese and Russian cuisine and experience interactive sports activities with their families.

The soccer match aims to promote exchanges and cooperation between China and Russia in various fields, such as sports, culture, and economy, and foster friendship and understanding between the people of both countries.
