Guizhou promotes culture and tourism in Sydney

The 2025 Amazing Guizhou Culture and Tourism Sydney Promotion Week and Guizhou Culture and Tourism Promotion Conference were held on May 12 in Sydney, Australia.

During his speech, Lu Yongzheng, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, reviewed Guizhou and Australia’s exchanges and cooperation.

Lu introduced Guizhou's unique natural landscapes, profound cultural charm, harmonious social ecology, and dynamic development. He invited Australians to visit Guizhou and experience its warmth and splendor firsthand.

Wang Yu, Chinese Consul General in Sydney, stated that the promotion week provided an exceptional opportunity for Australians to experience Guizhou's allure. He hopes that more Australians will visit Guizhou to immerse themselves in China's diverse and vibrant cultural charm.

The Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Group also signed a memorandum to strengthen tourism cooperation with Wendy Wu Tours, while the Guizhou International Cultural Exchange Association inked an agreement with the Australia-China Culture and Arts Promotion Association.

The promotion activities, running until May 31, include a photography exhibition, displays of intangible cultural heritage, and screenings of the promotional film Exploring the Mountains.
