HK Express to launch Guiyang direct flights

Starting July 31, HK Express will launch the only direct flight route between Hong Kong and Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province. The service will operate four times a week, connecting Hong Kong International Airport with Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport in just two hours.

With HK Express's network of over 30 Asian destinations, travelers from Guizhou will enjoy convenient connections to popular locations across Southeast and Northeast Asia. Thanks to a codeshare agreement with Cathay Pacific, passengers can benefit from streamlined travel with single-ticket booking and through-checked baggage to destinations worldwide via Hong Kong.

The new route is also expected to attract more international visitors to Guizhou, boosting the region's tourism sector. Guiyang is celebrated for its cool climate, dramatic karst landscapes, and vibrant ethnic cultures, including the Miao and Dong communities. Whether for a refreshing summer escape or an immersive cultural experience, this two-hour flight opens the door to one of China's most captivating destinations.
