The arrival of train G9599 on June 21 to Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, marked the province's first deployment of the CR400AF-Z Fuxing bullet train. Eight additional Fuxing trains will arrive successively, providing more travel options for the people of Guizhou.
The CR400AF-Z Fuxing smart bullet train operates at a maximum speed of 350 km/h. It features a silver-gray base color with three-color ribbons in vermilion, red, and yellow, evoking the image of a soaring, auspicious dragon.
To prepare for the new trains and ensure smooth operational readiness, Guiyang has established a team to collect the trains from Chengdu, while organizing a 40-day skills and professional training program for 25 staff members.
The training included full-process simulations covering core system principles and emergency fault response. In maintenance, efforts were refined using advanced technologies, such as big data monitoring and intelligent flaw detection, to perform thorough inspections of key components, including the running gear and traction systems, leaving no minor hazard unchecked.
All CR400AF-Z Fuxing smart bullet trains will be fully utilized during the summer transportation peak to ensure passengers' safety and comfort.
