Sixteen members of the Eco Forum Global Guiyang advisory committee, including Pan Jiahua, a member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Erik Solheim, co-chair of the EU-Asia Centre, have confirmed their attendance at this year's event, which will be held from July 5 to 6 in Guiyang.

The second plenary meeting of the advisory committee will be convened at this year's forum, and a flagship report on ecological civilization will be released.

The forum's executive committee will enhance communication and foster deeper collaboration with the advisory committee. Based on the committee's multidisciplinary, broad-scoped, and high-level intellectual resources, the forum aims to achieve groundbreaking progress.

The strengths of committee members will be utilized to address global hotspots in ecological civilization development. Research on international trends will follow current innovation demands, elevating the forum's global profile.

The committee's external experts will provide constructive suggestions on the forum's agenda design, format, and methods for engaging participants. Such input will support evidence-based decision-making in areas like technological innovation and outcomes translation.

By consolidating interdisciplinary, cross-industry, and cross-country collaboration, the forum will facilitate in-depth, multifaceted discussions on frontier scientific issues. This will drive cooperation in key domains and promote the sharing of best practices in ecological civilization.
