The "China's Development: An Opportunity for a Colorful World" International Exchange Week will take place in Zunyi, Southwest China's Guizhou province, from July 15 to 18.
Diplomats, international entrepreneurs, and internet influencers will engage in in-depth observations, research, field visits, and content creation to witness firsthand Guizhou's practices in advancing Chinese modernization. Several international short-video creators will also share Zunyi's stories with their followers.
This year's exchange week focuses on China's inland regions. Centered on Zunyi's signature industries, such as Chinese baijiu, tea, and chili peppers, the event invites international guests to share the globalization of China's distinctive industries, with Zunyi as a prime example.
In October 2024, the China International Communications Group (CICG) and the Publicity Department of the CPC Guizhou Committee co-hosted the first session of the international exchange week, bringing together prominent domestic and international guests, utilizing media platforms, and enhancing cultural exchanges.
The 2025 edition will continue this initiative, showcasing Guizhou as a model for China's inland opening-up, highlighting the win-win outcomes of the Belt and Road Initiative, and illustrating China's dynamic development, to present a Chinese blueprint for a more diverse and interconnected world.
