Drone images above the Gonglongping forest farm in Bijie, Guizhou province, pierce the clouds to reveal lush foliage.

More than 20 tree species form a dense green canopy covering over 50,000 mu (about 3,333 hectares), with a forest coverage rate of over 95 percent. The woodland acts as a vital ecological barrier for the Wujiang and Chishui river basins.

With its thriving woodlands, the farm has become a popular summer getaway for visitors.
