During the 2025 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week from July 24 to 27, an exhibition celebrating global flavors took place at Yunmanhu Park in Gui'an New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The Exhibition of Specialty Foods and Products from International Friendship Cities of Guizhou Province showcased over 80 specialty products from more than 20 countries, offering a global culinary journey.

Sabkhat, a teacher from Uzbekistan, who was invited to the international cultural exchange performances of the cooperation week, was impressed by the food and drinks at the exhibition. As she browsed displays of Guizhou's ethnic handicrafts, such as Yazhou pottery, silver ornaments, and batik, she instantly switched to shopping mode.

With a long-standing fascination with China, Sabkhat studied numerous books on Chinese history, and through this exchange, finally fulfilled her dream of visiting. "It's an incredibly beautiful and welcoming country. Everything is beyond my imagination. Absolutely wonderful!"

Relying on platforms like the cooperation week, Guizhou is steadily promoting broader regional collaboration and mutual development, while fostering people-to-people bonds, cultural exchanges, and shared prosperity.

Guizhou has established over 130 friendly relationships with local governments across 56 countries. This includes seven sister cities and 11 friendly partnerships with ASEAN countries, solidifying these connections as vital bridges for Guizhou's international engagement.
