On Aug 6, a cold-chain logistics truck loaded with Guizhou sturgeon prepared for cross-border departure at Guangxi's Pingxiang Youyiguan Port. With just four hours needed from entry at Youyiguan Port to arrival at the Vietnamese port, Guizhou can now offer same-day delivery of its surgeon to Vietnam.

To expedite clearance for fresh agricultural products, Youyiguan operates a dedicated green channel offering appointment-based rapid customs services. Live fish shipments undergo immediate inspection upon arrival, ensuring swift release.

The China-Vietnam Youyiguan–Youyi Smart Port, the first cross-border smart port project between the two nations, commenced construction on Sept 15, 2023, and is expected to begin trial operations by year’s end. It will enable 24/7 contactless, unmanned, and intelligent customs clearance, guaranteeing 24-hour delivery of Guangxi shipments to Vietnam.

Relying on an eco-friendly aquaculture model, Guizhou's sturgeon industry has expanded from scratch to become China's largest in terms of output, with the "Guizhou Sturgeon" brand value exceeding 960 million yuan ($133 million). The product enjoys strong sales across Southeast Asia and beyond.

As more Guizhou products reach global markets, the province's specialty agricultural products and electronic components are increasingly entering Southeast Asia via Youyiguan. Conversely, ASEAN goods like durians arrive in Guizhou through multimodal transport at the same port.

Functioning as a critical node on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, Youyiguan has established an efficient logistics bridge between inland China and international markets.
