The 2025 China Drone Soccer League is taking place from Aug 27 to 30 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, during the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2025. As the first officially recognized drone soccer league in China, the event has attracted dozens of clubs, nearly 100 teams, and hundreds of athletes from across the nation.

The event follows the 2025 China Drone Soccer League Competition Rules, with all participating drones being standardized equipment designated by the organizing committee. Advanced technologies such as precise flight control and collision avoidance are integrated to ensure competitive fairness and flight safety from a hardware perspective.

The event also introduces an intelligent sensing timing system, allowing audiences to view real-time data analytics during matches and experience firsthand how technology is revolutionizing traditional sports. This makes the event a dynamic technological showcase during the expo, offering experiential and interactive opportunities.

The event includes F9A-A, F9A-B, and F9A-C groups, with 358 participants ranging from experienced adult elite teams to youth squads. Young participants will be organized to visit the Big Data Expo exhibition area, as for them, the event is not only a stage for technical competition, but also a practical lesson to gain hands-on experience with drone flight control principles, AI data processing, and other digital technologies.
