The 2025 Summit on the Development of World Wine Industry, part of the 14th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo, was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Sept 10.
More than 200 representatives of leading domestic and foreign wine companies, trade elites, and experts and scholars gathered to conduct in-depth exchanges on the future trends and challenges facing the wine industry.
Enrique Garcia Romero, vice-president of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Beijing, said that the expo provides an important platform for the exchange of different wine cultures. Through the expo, wine companies and distributors from various countries can connect with one another, helping both parties to build long-lasting and stable trade cooperative relationships.
Xia Tian, China regional director of the Frankfurt International Wine Grand Prix, pointed out that promoting the overseas development of the Chinese wine industry is a key topic of this year's expo, which has received widespread attention inside and outside the industry. He looks forward to using the expo as a link to promote high-quality Chinese wine products to various European markets and further broaden the international influence of the Chinese wine industry.
Following the summit, a purchaser conference was held. Through various activities such as wine company brand special roadshows, wine commodity displays, and investment promotion policy interpretations, the conference served as a comprehensive display and exchange platform for participating companies.
